I’ve got a new favorite for busy nights – Honey Butter Garlic Shrimp! Lots of garlic, lots of butter, and a bit of chili pepper for that extra flavor. But don’t worry, it’s not too spicy – just a little kick!
When you’re short on time and craving something seafood-y, Honey Butter Garlic Shrimp is the way to go. It’s got a touch of sweetness and a bit of spice, giving you the best of both worlds. Try it once, and I bet it’ll become a regular on your dinner table!
Ingredients
Method
- In a bowl, coat the shrimp evenly with cornstarch.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil. Fry the shrimp until golden on each side, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet. Fry in batches if necessary.
- Remove the shrimp and set aside. Drain excess oil from the pan and return it to the stove.
- Over medium heat, add olive oil, butter, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, honey, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and rice vinegar to the skillet. Stir and simmer. Once simmering, add 2 more tablespoons of butter and mix well.
- The sauce will thicken. Add the shrimp back into the skillet and toss until coated evenly with the sauce.
- Remove from heat, garnish with cilantro or green onions, and serve hot!
