Ingredients
  

  • 12 King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls 1 pack

Cheesecake filling:

  • 1/2 cup of chilled heavy whipping cream 120g
  • 1/4 cup of sugar 55g
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice adjust to taste
  • 6 ounces of room temperature cream cheese 170g

Strawberry glaze:

  • 4 tablespoons of strawberry jam
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch

Decoration (optional):

  • 2-3 Graham crackers
  • 4-5 strawberries

Instructions
 

Cheesecake Filling:

  • Whisk together heavy cream, sugar, salt, vanilla, and lemon juice until thickened.
  • Add room temperature cream cheese and whisk on low speed until creamy. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a round piping tip.

Filling the buns:

  • Use a small knife to create a pocket inside each roll, being careful to keep the opening small.
  • Fill each roll generously with the cheesecake filling (about 25g per roll).
  • Clean up the edges and refrigerate while preparing the glaze.

Strawberry Glaze:

  • In a small saucepan, stir together strawberry jam, water, sugar, and cornstarch.
  • Cook and stir over low heat until thickened.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Dip the top of each roll into the glaze, shaking off excess. Place on a wire rack.

Decoration:

  • Optionally, decorate the rolls with sliced strawberries and crushed graham crackers.

Notes

Remember to keep the buns refrigerated! They’ll stay fresh for 3-5 days and are best enjoyed cold.
