  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 6 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 bagels (halved)
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 beef bacon strips (halved)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt (to your liking)
  • Black pepper (as desired)

**Garlic Butter:**

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, parsley, garlic, parmesan, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Set it aside.
  3. Halve each bagel and cut out a larger hole in the middle of each one.
  4. Brush the bottom of each bagel half with the garlic butter.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese underneath and/or on top of the bagels.
  6. Place beef bacon to cover the bottom of each well completely.
  7. Crack an egg on top of each hole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Larger eggs may take a bit longer; they’re ready when the egg whites are set and don’t jiggle when you shake the tray.
  9. Take them out of the oven and savor the deliciousness!
